Cup and Chaucer has changed location

June 15th, 2008

Cup and Chaucer Used Book Sale has moved

The Cup and Chaucer coffeehouse on the first floor of the library in the audio visual room contains several stacks of used books that are for sale on an on going basis through the Friends of the Library.  Proceeds go to support library programs and facilities.

We are now using the shelving on the wall right behind the place where our books were located.  The new shelves will be easily identified by signs stating Used Book Sale.  Hardcover books are $2 and Paperbacks and individual videos are $1.  There will be bestsellers available for a marked up price and multi video sets will be priced as marked.  We will be offering a much larger selection with fiction and mystery always being available.

Over the summer we will offer many videos, and paperbacks that you can take to the beach.  There will be something for everyone.  Material will be added to weekly.

We also have childrens books, magazines and light romance on the basement floor by our bulletin board.  Please put money owed in the black box when you go through the checkout.  Thank you for your support of this program, and our library.

Collectible and Valuable Books for sale here

February 27th, 2008

Occasionally we receive donations of books that have more value than an average used book.  We have decided to try to identify some of them and offer them to our members via our web site.  If they do not sell on our web site then we will eventually market them through a book seller.  We are hoping that we will increase our profits while still offering our books to our members first.  We will try to identify books worth more than $20.    We plan to list the books on this web site.  If interested you can call our office at 1-989-837-3437.   These books will be offered at our Used Book Sales if still available.   Books that are available are:
